what does fuel injector circuit short to positive mean?

my car has a code P1217 (injector circuit cylinder 5 short to positive)

P1217 Cylinder 5 injector circuit short to B+

This mean you have a shorted fuel injector, The worste that can happen when this code occurs is it will end up shorting up the ECM also if not resolved very soon, The only fix is replace the fuel injector
