My 2000 jetta has code p1472 no dtc definition found what does it mean.

Question

I have 2 codes the p1472 no dtc definition found and po102 mass volume air flow a circuit low input. Car runs good. Tried resetting but codes come back in seconds of turning car on. 2.0 motor. Any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated.

P1472 Evaporative emission control Leak detection pump circuit short to ground

P0102 MAF (mass airflow) circuit low input

Both code condition will set the CK ENG LT right away. this is a hard set code. You have to seperate situation with the EVAP system and the MAF sensor. The best fix will be with the MAF first P0102 is mostly set due to a failing MAF sensor.
