I have taken off the EGR valve, cleaned and tested it. Removed and cleaned the EGR temp sensor, is there anyway to test it also? The EGRC-BPT Valve has foam around the middle that is deteriorating. Replace the bottom hose from the EGRC-BPT valve to the metal tube. O'Reily's tried to clear the P0400 code but couldn't. The ohms on the EGRC solenoid was in the 50-70 ohm range. Do I need to clean out or replace all the vac hoses?

Hi there,

I would start by checking the wiring to the EGR valve. If the wiring is good, then check for blockage on the EGR tube from the exhaust manifold to the EGR.

Here is some more info for you.
