P0713 Transmission fluid temperature circuit high input

P0713 is a common problem with this year make and model, the fix that Ford has produced is to replace the transmission fluid temperature sensor. Depending now on when there is the slippage and and what speed does the slippage occurs is very important to narrow the probelm down if there is no code to help in the diagnosis. There are some cases where erratic shifting occurs above 50 mph. and also some shutter from drive to reverse and reverse to drive, in these case a TCM calibration was the fix.
