My 2000 Jeep Laredo is stalling at red lights, and I want to know why is it stalling? I got the engine code P0455

Depending on the engine size , you can have a problem with the IAC (idle air control) valve.Not properly making adjustment to the engine situation

 What the IAC does is maintain a target idle. it fails  two ways there is a excessive idle or a idle that fails to maintain the target idle
