I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon with the engine code P0446, what part would I need to replace to get this code to disappear?

There are several different parts that can cause this code to appear. It's sort of a blanket code for the emissions system. It is like the computer knows there is a problem, but it doesn't know where the problem is. What you have to do is start with a smoke test to make sure the system isn't leaking, then test the solenoids individually to find the faulty one. In most cases you will probably find a leak in the system with the smoke test and be able to determine what to repair from thre.
