2006 GMC Envoy, what is code p0506 and how do I fix it?

HI there,

This code means the engine rpm is lower then expected. This vehicle uses and electronic throttle body and there isn't any adjustments that you can make on it. There are other possible causes that could do this, a dirty throttle body or leaking vacuum line could do this. A poorly running engine could cause it as well.
