U0073 Pontiac -How do I correct this situation?

Scanner says engine light is on but is not illuminating. Has several other codes as well as the one mentioned above. car has had a dead battery for a couple of weeks. Will disconnecting the battery reset all of these issues? Please respond to [email protected] thank you.

U0073 Controller Area Network (CAN) Bus communication

Disconnection the battery will reset the monitors and would reset the CK ENG LT. that is depending on the other code that is stored. When U0073 code is set it is capable of suspending other code from occuring, it is imporatnt to know what the other code that are also set with this code.
