is it likely the pcm is bad. is there a tsb for this problem. what would cause coil to melt in the first place to damage the pcm

P0356 Ignition coil primary / secondary circuit

There a variety of reason for P0356, A faulty igntion coil, The coil driver is short to ground , to a faulty terminal connection.

 A sparkplug that is not properly torque down and coming out of its threaded housing can also set a P0356.
