Hello, I have a 2008 Four Winds motorhome with the Ford Trition V-10 engine and get codes PO706 and PO707 both of which have to do with the transmission. I have ran the transmission thru several shift cycles and looked at what wiring I can see without tearing things apart. Everything appears to be ok( did not take for test drive as motorhome is covered up). My question is there a way to clear the codes to see if the dash light comes on again when restarted or should I disconnect the battery and see if that clears the light problem? Thanks for help!

P0706 Transmission range sensor circuit range /perfromance

P0707 Transmission range sensor circuit low perfromance

Disconnecting the battery the code would still be there, you need a scantool for this condition. When you have a P0706 and P0707 the transmission range sensor is out of its normal range, What the ECM/TCM see is only reverse , neutral, and 5th gear, without a proper working TR switch the engine may not crank. The gear selector for this vehicle tends to get sloppy such as alot of play with the gear selector through it column the cable connection would also need to be inspected
