P0300 Jeep -

Question

engine light blinks then goes out about half a block from home. Then other night engine light blinks and stays on again soon after getting in car and driving. code p0300 spark plugs changed.. engine analysis shows misfire fault. I spent 500 hundred dollars already. what can happen if i just let it stay on and ignore it?
Any ideas what might be wrong.

P0300 Random misfire

The purpose of the CK ENG LT is to protect the catalytic convertor, and the catalytic is to protect the enviroment. If allow the misfire to continue the catalytic damage will occur. A blinking CK ENG LT are more related to igntion misfire you can just be needin a igntion coil. Beside the P0300 is there any other code with it?

 Here a Jeep with a 4.7 Lt. engine. the code was P0300 and a P0202 (injector circuit open cylinder 2) using a igntion anyalyzer the coil tested good.

 The fix for the P0300 and P0202 was that the injector connector was disconnected, this condition more often occurs on a Jeep with a 4.7. The fix was easy the use of a zip tie put this vehicle back on the road
