P1456 2003 Nissan Pathfinder code detected, smoke test done, no leaks.What else can it be?

2003 Nissan Pathfinder, Failed emissions inspection with P1456 code-Evap Leak fuel system. Had smoke test done and no leaks were found. Reset light and next day the "Service Engine Soon" light came right back on. What could this be and what is the next step to correct and pass inspection

P1456 EVAP control system

Check the charcoal canister, what you would checking for is if the charcoal has internally broke apart .What happens is the charcoal may have broke apart internally  check the purge for any charcaol debris that may be in purge line
