the question i have is can the crankshaft sensor keep your car from shifting? when i put it in manual shift it say fifth gear and wont change...i change both camshaft sensor already

 The location of the CKP is at the bottom of the transmission area which uses the flywheel or flexplate where the signal wheel is located, Will the CKP keep the car from shifting , No it will not, depending on the scan tool you have you need to acces the transmission code.
