i code 0443

Question

everytime i start the car is kind of sounds bad trying to turn off it shows me the code 0443 on the sct computer what it could be?. the battery cables are in a bad condition do you think might be that?

Hi there

This code is for the purge control solenoid. If this is stuck open this might cause the car to flood and stall out. Basically this is there to pull the fuel vapors out of the charcoal canister.If the vapors are being sucked in at low rpms it could cause the stalling. It's only suppose to open at high engine rpms
