I had not ran the car in two weeks, i started the car with no issues but when i went to drive away it had zero power would not go over 20mph and even that took some time to get to that speed. Idles and sounds and feels fine otherwise. Check engine light came on and when i checked with a code reader, the code U0101 was displayed. My question is if i need a new TCM does it have to be programed/falshed by the dealer or are they plug and play.

Hi there

There isn't any reprogramming required when replacing the transmission. The code is pointing to an issue with the TCM, that will not require programming either.

Here is a link to the code.
