I've replaced a 02 sensor behind the cat and its still throwing an o2 sensor circuit code I checked fuses and voltage its good should I exchange the new 02 sensor to see if it's a faulty sensor

Vehicle: 1996 Ford ranger 2.3

Hi there,

It is possible the sensor is bad. If you are getting the right voltages at the sensor, then you need to check them at the PCM. You can do this with either a scan tool or follow the wiring to the pcm and check it with a volt meter. A broken or pinched wire can cause this as well as an exhaust leak.
