Does it hurt your car to drive with this code p0447?

Hi there,

You will not damage the car if you drive it with this code. Basically the vent control valve may be open and allowing fuel vapors into the atmospere. If it is stuck closed, then you may have some issues putting gas in the car because the fuel vapors won't have anywhere to go.
