subaru 1507 until warm

Question

I have a 99 legacy 2.5. Code 1507 comes on at first drive, before before the car is at operating temp. After that itis usually ok. coming to a stop, the engine will idle low.

Hi there, The code is for the IAC valve, however based on the symptoms I think I would unplug the mass air flow sensor and see if the idle returns to normal. If it does, replace the maf sensor. If not, then replace the IAC. Sometimes with these cars they will set the code for the IAC when something else is causing idle issues.
