how do i solve a p0011 code problem in honda 2008?

My 2008 Honda is having a check engine code and showing the visa light too, and I decided to use a machine to check and the code that was shown as the fault detected is p0011 (vtc system malfunction) . Can you tell me more about this problem and how to fix this problem because we don't really have good technicians at this side of the world. Kindly help me please.

This code is for the variable valve timing control solenoid.

Possible causes are the solenoid itself, the cam position sensor or the mechanical timing being off. I would start with the vvt solenoid as they do tend to get sticky. Check the engine oil level as well. If the car is low on oil it can throw this code.
