It says I have a small leak on my pontiac bonneville 2002

The engine light came out and when I checked it with the computer it says that I have a small leak but it didn't specify where or what is leaking , what I'm sure about it is that it's not an oil leak and it does not leave any place under the car and it's hard to identify where it is with just looking at the engine so please if anyone that had experienced something like this before can help me?

Hi there,

The code is likely for a small leak in the evap system. There aren't any monitors for oil leaking or coolant really. What happens is one of the parts to the evap system is leaking fuel vapors. A smoke test is required to try and locate the leak and then the affected part or parts can be replaced.
