Check Engine Light came on, code P0402 ... did the following to attempt to clear it:
- Replaced EGR ... no luck
- Replaced VSV, no luck
- Cleaned MAS, no luck
- Replaced 1/2 of all vacuum tubes associated with EGR, no luck
- Removed and thoroughly cleaned Oxygen Sensors, no luck

What could it be?

Is it EGR Temp. Sensor?

Hi there,

This usually happens when the tube from the head to the egr is plugged up. Everything is working like it should, but there isn't any flow, the egr temp sensor sees that and sends the P0402 code out. Check the tube, then clean it with carb cleaner and a coat hanger, this will usually resolve the problem.
