ford focus 2010 code p0340

Question

I have a ford focus 2010. I changed the camshafft sensor and it still showing the p0340 code. The car is not runing well and the engine turns off itself when I start the a/c.any ideas?

Hi there,

This can indicate an issue with the mechainical timing. If the timing chain has jumped time then you will get poor running and also the code for the cam sensor because the cam will be out of sync. Other possible issues could be the wiring from the sensor to the computer.
