Car is misfiring throwing this code, replaced the sensor three times under warranty problem goes away comes/ comes back intermittently could this be a computer issue? Coil packs/ module? I have tools but limited resources, can I fix this myself? Please and thank you for any responses.

P0123 Throttle position sensor circuit high input

Circuit high codes are disconnection issue with the sensor, This is not a problem with the sensor , what happens is there is either a poor mating connection either at the sensor or at its terminals.

 Here a Chevy S10 that kept setting a ciruit high for MAP sensor what happen is the tab locks were broken off and every now and then the coonection would just disconnect. The use of zip ties to hold it in place were use for the fix.

 

Here a zip tie being used here for a Ford misfire number 1 cylinder, Its locking tabs where broken , it kept setting a misfire number 1 cylinder, the problem was the injector connecter could not make proper contact a zip tie here solved the misfire issue,
