I got the codes $7e9 and $7e8 error in my 2008 Dodge Caliber 2.0L

The codes 7E9 and 7E8 are not OBDII codes. When the OBDII scanner plugs in your vehicle, the OBDII scanner gets the 7E9 and 7E8 ($7E9 and $7E8) codes from the ECM. The codes are a menu of systems that the OBDII scanner can access. OBDII scanner interprets the codes and displays the menu. Some scanners can't solve these codes and show the codes instead of the interpretation. Clicking on the code menu will read the OBDII codes (e.g. P0420 or P0455), if any, from that system.

7E8 and 7E9 these are not error code, they represent a menu , For the one for the engine data, and the other for the transmission data.
