I got the code P0316 on my 2004 Ford Freestar. What does it mean when it says that the readiness status of the heated catalytic converters is unsupported?

Hi there,

This means you do not have heated converters on the van. As for the P0316 code, this is for the mifire detection sensor. This can be caused by several items including but not limited to intake vacuum, bad COP, bad spark plug, fuel injector and even something loose in the engine.

Most vehicles do not have heated converters on them so this isn't unusual.
