I have a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S, took it ti the beach on the way down i noticed that i would have the gas pedal all the way pushed going up a hill, no power at all.. check engine light came on, so I pulled into a parts store, code was P0744 I have the CVT transmission.. well on the way home from beach, no check engine light and no problems... do i need to change my fluid you think? I have 128K miles.

You should start by inspecting the transmission fluid level and condition, change the fluid if necessary. If the problem persists you may have to have the dealer inspect the transmission, since you could have a problem with the transmission valve body.
