2003 Toyota Highlander 3.0L V6 with code B2799

Question

My 2003 Toyota Highlander had a lightning strike very near to it. Now it won't spark. The security system won't turn off. I sent out the engine control computer to be repaired but that didn't work. The code is B2796.

B2796 No communication in immoblizer system

Is there any other key that you have with the transponder chip that you can try.and you would have to clear any antitheft code that occurs before attampting to start. . If none of the keys start check the key amplifier harness that connects to it. if everything is good there the key amplifier will need to be replaced.
