unplugged negative cable on battery changed spark plugs car idled rough and died put old plugs back in car same results put scanner on car read PO101 MASS AIR FLOW SENSER just replaced the MAS 4 months ago I think the problem as something with disconnecting the neg battery cable had the same problem when I put a new battery in car running rough and dieing and read the same code back then PO101 HELP

P0101 MAF circuit / range performance

What you may have is a perfromance issue with the MAF sensor, check the MAF air flow air duct for any tears or opens that would affect its perfromance

 Here is good MAF air flow duct properly secured no opens or tear,

 Here a MAF that is broken , this would cause rough idle, and poor idle , stalling,
