I just changed the coils and the plugs on all four plugs. I had this problem before and I replaced the coils for the third time!!! Is there something that causes the coils to go bad?? It works great when I first replace the coils but after I let it run something causes the coils to go bad????? Whatever it is it blows the coils right away, the new coils only lasts for a few minutes.

P0303 Misfire number 3 cylinder

When the ignition coil  burns out check the terminals especially the mating area for proper mating, There are some manufactuer when you buy the ignition coil comes with a addition instruction recommending the replacement of the igntion terminals.

On the igntion coil for the Audi, when you purchase the igntion coil, some  come with a recommended terminal replacement notice  to extend the warranty of the igntion coil , If you open the harness for the igntion coil in question you may just be able to find the frayed primary wire to the igntion coil.
