Have a code P0405 that I'm trying to narrow it down . Wires do look good but code keeps coming back when reset.

Which 2 wires do I test for 5 volts on is it D wire and ground ?
I will sometimes surge when started but only once.

Vehicle: 2000 Chevy Impalla 3.8
