P0135 GMC - 2006 Envoy SLT

My car will not stay on or running. The diagnostics tool reports code P0135, will this be the cause of the car not staying on?

Hi there,

Usually this code will not prevent the car from starting or running. This code is for the upstream O2 sensor which doesn't actually start working until the engine is running.
