P0456 Mazda -

Question

A very early 2004 rx8 has a CEL code: P0456. The purge valve and fuel cap have been replaced as have the coils and cat. Occasionally the check radiator light appears. Where do I go next???

This code is for a very small evap leak. Normally the next step is doing a smoke test to determine where the leak is coming from. It's less then a .5 mm hole. If no leaks are found then the fuel tank pressure sensor could be bad. If it's not reporting a pressure change then you will get this code.
