I got the engine code P0071on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I have the Checked Engine Light ON with this message Ambient Air Temperature Error Sensor Performance for the 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Its on since i installed DVD screen on my car which have just normal radio.
I tried to delete the message but in a few seconds, it came back. I have ever get the check engine on . On my car

Check the radio and clock fuse. Yellow fuse on the fuse block. See the image below.

Hi, thank you for your reply. What I believe is that I remember he disconnected the clock and temperature wire when he removed the old stereo panel. I'll check with the guy again today. Also, does it have anything to do with engine performance? cause I feel like engine has some missing when I drive now. Please reply.

No, it should not affect the engine performance.

Check the power fuse on the fuse block. The fuse powers the audio, clock, and other devices.

P0071 Ambient air temperature circuit / range performance

What you can also have is a faulty ambient air temperature sensor.

 

Check and inspect the ambient air temperature sensor, most of the time this sensor fails out of place.
