What kind of scanner do I need to buy to scam my TCM to see exactly what is the problem with it, p0700 is just a general code right?

Vehicle: 1999 Chrysler lhs 3.5 liter high output 24 valve V-6

P0700 Transmission fault detected Mil light requested on

With P0700 there should be other code stored with this. Start with the basic check the transmission fluid. Good scan tool reader some are Autel, Maxidas, Launch, what ever in your price range
