Get P0316 and P0308. Coil checked good on #8, but plug was fouled. Replaced the plug, but no improvement and both codes came back. Since P0316 is misfire in first 1000 rpm does this suggest a bad crank sensor or just another indication the misfire is occurring?

Hi there

This is just pointing to the misfire on cylinder #8 in the first 1000 rpms.

It isn't pointing to an issue wth the crank sensor, but it is pointing to some type of issue with the coil on cylinder 8 r an issue with the wiring or ecm.
