I drove the car home from work with no problems, shut the car off and went inside. The next day when I went to go to work, the car wouldnt start. Pulls the P0340 code. I replaced the Camshaft Position Censor, but it still wouldnt start. Then I replaced the Crankshaft Position Censor and it still would not start. I also replaced the spark plugs while I was at it because they are the originals and the car has 129,000+ miles on it. I checked to make sure it was getting fire and also made sure it was getting fuel. Both of those things are good. Car still pulls the P0340 code and will not start. What else could it be and what kind of cost am I looking at incurring?

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

Even with a camshaft position sensor code, the engine will still start, P0340 can be cause by incorrect sparkplug, and still yet the engine would still start, wont run right but it would start. The fuel and the spark come from the CKP signal. where its toner signal is at the crankshaft. So this mean you need to check the timing belt.
