2011 lincoln MKT code po430 and somtimes it smells like diesel

Question

the vent tube with the filler gas pipe has been replaced and the purge
Evap valve and dust separator valve
But the code PO430 is back sometimes after driving
For 30 to 50 minutes and i come to a stop light
The exhaust smells like diesel or unburnt gas
Any idea hiw to fix it no leaks from the pipes or
Exhaust

Based on your description, the bank 2 catalytic converter needs to be replaced. This will cause bad exhaust smell as well. FYI in the US the converter is covered with an 8yr/80,000 mile warranty and will be replaced by the dealer at no charge.
