2007 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Deisel Cummins with engine codes P0148

Question

When driving I step on accelerator and the RMP will only reach 1800 and will only allow me to go 45 MPH no matter how hard I press the fuel peddle. Any help would be great.

This code is normally caused by a fuel leak. The reason you can't go any faster is because the fuel isn't getting to the engine fast enough.
