On my 2004 Lexus GX470 V8 I got the engine code P0453, where do I find the sensor that is bad is that what this code means is I have to replace a sensor?

HI there,

Many times the pressure sensor is not the problem even though the code is for this sensor. This sensor checks the pressure in the evap system. Basically when the pressure gets to high it tells the system to open the purge valve and lower the pressure. If the system is open or the pressure doesn't change then the computer will set a code for the sensor. If the sensor does need to be replaced, it's located in the engine compartment on the driver side inner fender
