I have a 96 gmc 1500 5.7 vortec and i pulled p 1345 and it misses goin down the road and at idel too only does it when trying to cruise at a set speed while driving

P1345 CKP / CMP correlation

Remove the distributor cap and check the rotor , try wiggling it to see if there is excesive play, this would be a good indication if the distributor is gears are faulty, P1345 is usually set when the distributor is removed and not correctly insatalled, or the distributor  rotor has shifted out of position
