Toyotal Corolla , 2006 Model: Check engine light comes on driving for 25-30 Kms and stays for 1-3 days and goes of on starting engine spontaneously to come back if I drive over 30 KMs. It might not get on if continue to drive say 10Kms per day. It was diagnosed 2 years back as error code p1349 multiple times as VVT malfunction. Oil system had been cleaned multiple times but didn't work out. I changed VVTI sensor and that didn't work as well. Apparently, there is no any mechanical problem with the car that has been identified. Any thought please? Seyoum

P1349 VVT Actuator malfunction

The gear on the intake would more than likely be non functional. this would be with the camshaft actuator.
