2003 Hyundai Santa Few 2.7 6 cylinder check engine light came on about 2 months ago, code P0455. Replaced the gas tank cap, cleared the code, came back on in a week, had smoke test done, replaced canister and a few other parts that were actually leaking, cleared code. Came back one in a week, took back under warranty has checked again for leaks nothing found close cleared and came back on in a week. Took back again last week with the same results, came back on this morning. Auto shop that originally did the smoke test is willing to fix but do not know what is wrong. Any suggestions as I do not want to take to dealer to pay more to find out if there is just something that is being overlooked.

Thank you

Vehicle: 2003, Hyundai, Santa Few, 2.7 V6

Hi there,

Have them test the evap pressure sensor. If it's not reading properly it can throw this code even though the system is fine. The pressure sensor tells the evap system when to purge. If it's not working then it won't purge and will cause this type of issue.
