2010 Nissan Versa 1.6L with engine code P1564. What is the component I have to replace to get rid of the code (problem)

Hi Rob,

Normally replacing the cruise control on off switch will resolve this code for you. If you have an airbag light on at the same time then it might be a problem with the spiral cable.

The code means that the cruise control switch on the steering wheel is not working properly. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the switch. If the problem persists you may have to replace the switch to fix the problem.
