.Why check engine lights still on

I had a reading done at Auto Zone and Advance Auto it read PO171 and PO401 for a Honda 96EX I had the EGR replace today. But my check engine light is still on.

You had 2 codes before, do you still have the same codes? The P0171 and P0401 are not for the same component. The EGR should fix the the P0401 but no the P0171.
