would this also make it difficult to accelerate or go up hills?

Hi there,

This code is for the idle control speed. This should not be a factor in the way the car is running off idle. Usually when you have issues climbing hills it's either something with the transmission, the fuel pressure or sometimes a plugged up catalytic converter.
