Got P0010 on Camaro SS (L99 engine) recently.
I was just curious to see if I have any trouble codes and found that one only.
Runs great, no CE/MIL light, a bit high fuel consumption BUT this is V8 so I am not worried about gas that much.
However this code makes me crazy.
I wonder if this code shall lead to Check Engine light pop-us or not necessary?

Oil is 70% life, new battery, car is well maintained.
What could be a problem?

P0010 Intake camshaft position actuator solenoid control circuit.

This code condition is for the  intake camshaft solenoid on Bank 1. When you have this code it is a type "B" code, The CK ENG LT will illuminate on the second or third ignition cycle that the diagnostic runs and fails. P0010  means the ECM see the intake camshaft solenoid as a open circuit, Open circuit are disconnection either internally of the solenoid, or at the solenoid.

P0010 is a open circuit code, That the ECM see as a circuit high, or a voltage high, just checking the sensor for disconnection is as easy as lighlty tugging on the connection. It is imporatnt that you resolve circuit high code condtion especially when it comes to a solenoid, Having this type of code can easily damage the ECM driver.

Number 5 listed here is the camshaft position actuator solenoid.
