ifailure for honda accord 2001

I just had the catalyst converter and a new flex pipe put on. The check engine was off once the work was done. Now after driving 15-20 miles the engine light is on again. They read it and diagnosed it as a vetch system malfunction. Will this cause the car to fail Connecticut Emissions?

CK ENG LT on? Then yes it will fail the emission test. , The purpose for the emission test is to protect the enviroment from harmful emission that is emitted into the atmopshere. The CK ENG LT will have a code, that code will help pin point the cause for the CK ENG LT.
