Previously had P0101 and P0104 warning codes. I replaed the air filter and these codes were gone, however, a new checheck engine warning generated a P0171 code.
Is it best to start to solve the problem bby rlacing the Mass Air Flow Sensor or is there someting better to start debugging and repairing the problem?

Another point is that the door open red 0 indicater remains off until the passenger side door is is opened and closed, There after, the interior lights remain on and I must disconnect the battery for a while until the system resets. Then I may drive without any door open warning until the passenger door is opened and closed again. Any suggestions?

P0171 Fuel trim lean Bank 1

P0101 Mass airflow circuit range / performance

P0104 Mass airflow circuit intermittent

To resolve the door light issue , this is with the door switch circuit, to access the light switch the door  panel has to be removed to replace the switch. For the Mass air flow condition you can try to clean it out with a suitable cleaner, such as brake cleaner or carburator cleaner,

All manufactuer of airfilter has to apply a fire retardent on their air filter product before they can ship and  it out to the market

Cleaning the Mass air flow sensor with a cleaner such as brake cleaner or intake cleaner or even carburator cleaner can help resolve lean code condition produced by the Mass air flow sensor.

Mass ariflow lean codes are usualy blamed for a lean condition , but it is always a good inspection to look for a vacuum leak,, Here in back of the intake manifold was a broken vacuum line that resulted in a MAF range perfromance code. P0101.
