transmission replaced throttle position sensor replaced

2001 chevy tahoe still have slack in the column shift and it wont shift properly i have reverse and park but every thing else seems to be off like 1/2 a gear replaced transmission and throttle position sensor
still wont shift properly

Sound like the gear selector cable has alot of play in it.
