C1242 - can performing an oil change or needing an oil change create this code?

C1242 IG1/IG2 Power source circuit

Can changing the oil , or needing a oil change cause this code, More than likely ,no, this would be more of a power voltage drop which would be temporary. Have the 12 volt car battery check  going weak can also set this code.
